"Aurora" means "sunrise" and "Soma" is the body so this program is intended to let the sun, the energy, rise in the body. This program is the first of a set of new software applications that use diverse forms of subjective response from the client to assess his state of health. In this first product we use the personal likes or dislikes of certain color combinations to determine the 4-element composition of the client's momentary state. The test only takes about 5 minutes and looks as follows:
A succession of color combinations is presented to the client and he rates his individual resonance with values between -2 and 2 , where -2 means strong dislike, -1 some discomfort, 0 would be neutral, 1 somewhat agreeable and 2 would mean strong attraction. At the end of this test the result is displayed as the distribution of the 4 elements in the given situation. For a practitioner trained in Ajurveda or Alchemy, this gives a valuable key to the understanding of the client's present situation and his needs. However even without this training a common-sense understanding of the 4 elements is valuable and easy to grasp. In the ideal situation, the 4 elements would have about an equal percentage, whether they are all minus or plus is secondary, but balance needs primarily a balance of the 4 elements.
There are many valuable books about the science of the 4 elements (see resources below), however in the shortest way one can put it as follows: Too much or too little Fire in respect to the other elements means an imbalance of Energy, passion, body heat, life force, …. An imbalance of Water signifies an imbalance in general, but also of connection, with other people or oneself, and of course it also can mean an imbalance in the water economy of the physical body. Earth stands for grounding, stability, nutrition, and is related to all the structural elements of the body. Wind is that which gives movement in every aspect of life, in thoughts as well as in the flexibility to adapt to new situations in one's environment. After the evaluation this program allows a new and very effective way to give color therapy, by selecting either the homeopathic mode, which will select color combinations for balancing that have a 4-element distribution similar to the one found for the client in the moment, or an allopathic mode that uses colors that are complementary to the state of the client. The therapist can use the following screen to select the duration of therapy, the degree of color matching and the time each individual color combination is to be displayed.
